Our Nova laser cutter machines come in multiple sizes and feature an adjustable bed. The Nova series also features hybrid servo motors which allow for excellent engraving quality with high resolution.
Users can also upgrade to the RF tube to reach an even higher cutting and engraving quality, and we have several more user-friendly designs included in this excellent series.

Shipping cost to your door is included in our pricing. The price you see is the price you pay (plus tax). We can’t assist with unloading the machine and moving it to its final destination in your space though.
Everything you need to run the laser is included, except 2 gallons of distilled water for the chiller.
Thunder Laser offers 2 year warranty on the machines and 1 year warranty on the accessories.
RDWorks is available for free and runs only on Windows, but we recommend using Lightburn, which runs on both Mac or PC. As long as you can plug into your device with either USB or Ethernet cable and you’re running Mac or PC, you should be good to go.
Desktop PC both ok, as long as your operating system is Windows XP/2000/Vista/7/8/10. You can design your jobs in any vector software such as Adobe Illustrator, Lightburn, CorelDraw, AutoCAD etc.
You can use either Lightburn software or RDWorks with the Nova series machines. We highly recommend investing in the Lightburn software, as it is one of the best laser controlling software on the market, it’s easy to use and intuitive. You can install it on up to two devices and it’s cheaper when purchased with the machine.
Aurora and Odin series both run on EZCAD software and it comes with the machines. Our developers are working on offering the Lightburn software on these machines as well. If you ever worked with EZCAD and Lightburn, you will know why (yes, Lightburn is just that much better!).
Lightburn supports the following file types: AI, SVG, DXF, PDF, HPGL, PLT, and RD for vector formats. PNG, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, TGA, and GIF for image formats.
We want to see you succeed so we offer a complimentary 1 hour set-up/training session to get you started and operational, and are available to answer questions and provide support on an ongoing basis.
If you are comfortable designing jobs in your chosen graphic software, you’ll quickly pick the skills you need to become a master of your laser! In addition to our training there are many great videos online that are easily accessible for both Lightburn and Thunderlaser.

No, our laser machine can do both cutting and engraving very well.You just need one machine for both kinds of jobs. No, our Nova series is capable of both engraving and cutting.
If you’re more focused on cutting, the 4” head will increase your cutting capabilities.
If you’re looking more into engraving, the HR head will allow you to engrave photorealistic designs and the rotary attachment will allow for engraving cylindrical objects.
